Privacy notice

Last updated 6 October 2026.

Who we are

SigHQ is a pre-launch project. It isn't yet operated by a registered company; when one is formed, this notice will be updated to name it. In the meantime, SigHQ is responsible for the personal data described here, and you can reach us about anything on this page at hey@sighq.app.

Joining the waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. We use it only to tell you about SigHQ — updates on its progress and when it launches. We don't sell it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us, and we'll remove you. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

The waitlist is run by Loops (Astrodon Corporation, United States), which stores the list and sends the emails on our behalf.

Analytics and cookies

We use two analytics tools to understand which articles are read and how people find them, so we can improve the site.

  • Google Analytics (Google, United States) sets cookies whose names begin with _ga and records the pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location, and your device and browser type, linked to a random identifier stored in those cookies. You can switch it off for this browser below.
  • Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel, United States) doesn't use cookies. It counts page views in aggregate, and the short-lived identifier it creates from each request is discarded after 24 hours.

Google Analytics is on for this browser.

Other services that see your request

Like any website, ours has to receive your IP address to send you a page. The site is hosted by Vercel, and its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so both receive your IP address and basic browser details when you visit.

Transfers outside the UK

Loops, Google and Vercel are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Each publishes the safeguards it relies on for international transfers in its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or restrict using it. Email hey@sighq.app and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
